Check your liver health

If you thought alcohol was the only cause for liver diseases, you need to think again!

Liver disease can strike individuals across all age groups with almost little to no warning.

Fret not! The good news is most liver diseases can be prevented or treated successfully, if detected early.

Check your liver health now!

1. Have you ever experienced flu-like symptoms (e.g. fatigue, nausea, body aches) with no identied cause?
2. Do you take medication - prescription or over-the-counter - on a daily basis?
3. Do you ever combine medications to treat an illness or take medication when you have been drinking alcohol?
4. Do you drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks a day if you're a woman or more than 3 alcoholic drinks if you're a man?
5. Have you ever had unprotected sex?
6. Do you have a tattoo or piercing?
7. Have you ever gotten sick after a trip?
8. Do you regularly eat high calorie, processed or fast foods and drink lots of pop or sports drinks?
9. Are you overweight? (Is your body mass index higher than 25?)
