  • 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of your choice
  • 1/2 tsp of ginger powder or grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp of honey or jaggery (optional)

 

Method:

First, put all the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk constantly until it simmers. The spices need to be whisked well to dissolve in the milk. The drink should be served hot or warm with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
